To achieve a consistent coffee extraction, it is crucial to evenly distribute the ground coffee. Follow these steps for the perfect cup of coffee: ☕🌼

Step 1: Fill the filter basket with freshly ground coffee powder to your desired amount.

Step 2: Adjust the distributor to the ideal depth and place it on the bottomless naked portafilter with the four-page propeller blade facing down.

Step 3: Rotate the distributor gently until the coffee grounds are evenly distributed and level. If needed, adjust the depth to ensure proper contact with the coffee grounds. (Note: Avoid applying excessive pressure to the bottomless portafilter basket at this stage)

Step 4: Flip the tool over and use the flat bottom to tamp the coffee powder flat.

Step 5: To maintain consistent tamping, adjust the tamping depth to match the depth created in step 4.

This 51mm Coffee distributor and hand tamper is designed to fit Delonghi Portafilters, including EC0680 and EC0685 bottomless portafilters. Made from Food-Grade 304 stainless steel, it guarantees durability and safety. Please note that for a 51 or 52 mm portafilter, you should choose the 51 mm coffee distributor.
