To prepare your 3700Gense espresso machine for its first use, follow these steps. Ensure that the "red rubber ring" is removed from the bottom and securely install the water tank. Fill the water tank with water and allow the machine to preheat until all the buttons' lights stay on. Turn the steam knob to let hot water flow for 10 seconds, and then set the knob to OFF. Your espresso machine is now ready to use.

In the event that all the buttons are flashing, indicating a water shortage, please follow these steps. Fill the water tank with room temperature water and turn the steam knob to the steam/water position. Allow hot water to flow out of the steam wand to cool down the machine. Once the temperature has cooled down, all buttons will be fully illuminated. Return the knob to OFF, and your coffee machine is ready to brew.

If the single and double buttons are flashing, it may be a result of the over-heating protection being triggered by brewing coffee immediately after frothing milk. To resolve this issue, place a cup under the steam wand and turn the steam knob to the steam/water position. Let hot water come out of the steam wand to cool down the machine. Once all the buttons' lights stay on, turn the steam knob to OFF, and your machine is ready to use.
